There is a 3" to 4" wide streak of heartwood down most of the second face that is 1/4" deep at one end. Surfaced two face and nicely figured.
Cutting this selection so that the final package is 48" or less can save as much as $30 off the cost of shipping as long as the package is less than 50 pounds.
