There is a streak of heartwood at each end of the second face that is 1/4" deep at the ends. Surfaced two face and very nicely figured. There is a 1" long bark inclusion strip 14" from one end of both faces.
Cutting this selection so that the final package is 48" or less can save as much as $30 off the cost of shipping as long as the package is less than 50 pounds.
