There is a 3" wide strip of heartwood running down the center of the second face that is 3/4" deep at one end and 1" deep at the opposite end. Surfaced two face and beautifully figured. There is also a worm hole on one edge of the pictured face.
Cutting this selection so that the final package is 48" or less can save as much as $30 off the cost of shipping as long as the package is less than 50 pounds.
