There is an area of heartwood at each end of the second face that each contain a few small bark inclusions. Surfaced two face and very nicely figured. There are some areas of wane along one edge of the pictured face that reduce the usable width to 6 1/4" at the narrowest point.
Cutting this selection so that the final package is 48" or less can save as much as $30 off the cost of shipping as long as the package is less than 50 pounds.
