The 11" wide piece has a 4" wide streak of heartwood running down the center of the second face that is starting to show at one end of the pictured face as a 4" long by 2" wide light streak. The 9" wide piece has two small areas of heartwood on the second face. Surfaced two face and lightly figured. Both pieces have some dots of drying stain on the pictured face as well as a couple of mineral streaks.
