There is a baseball sized area of heartwood along one edge of the second face that contains a 1" long drying crack. Surfaced two face and nicely figured. There is 12" of wane along one edge of the pictured face at the end of the board that reduces the usable width to 7" at the narrowest point.

Cutting this selection so that the final package is 48" or less can save as much as $30 off the cost of shipping as long as the package is less than 50 pounds.
