There is an 8" wide area of heartwood along the center-line union on each piece with a strip of sapwood on the outside edges of both pieces on both faces. Surfaced four sides and very nicely figured. One piece has a shallow 1/4" wide empty bark pocket along the center-line union on the second face that shouldn't show through during forming.
