Sapwood along the edge of the pictured face with one edge having two areas of wane at opposite ends of the board that would reduce the usable width to 8 3/8" at the narrowest point if jointed off. Surfaced two face and beautifully figured. There is a 2" knot along one edge of the pictured face at the end of the board that exits onto the second face 18" from the end of the board. There is also a 1 3/4" mostly closed knot 7 1/2" from the opposite end of the second face.
