This selection is for un-figured 8/4 soft maple lumber. The minimum order quantity is 10 board feet and it is sold in 10 board foot increments. Meaning if you put 2 in the order quantity you will receive 20 board feet. The material is all greater than 6" wide, is 9' to 10' in length and is rough surfaced to 1 15/16" in thickness. Small orders will need to be cut to less than 95" in order to ship but larger orders will be shipped via common carrier on pallets.
The material is guaranteed to be sapwood one face and the majority of what I have available is sapwood two face but there may be heartwood present on the second face of the board. There may also be things like mineral streaks, worm holes, minor wane, small bark inclusions, etc that are common occurrences in maple lumber. Every effort will be made to minimize these types of things but one or both faces may have some combination of them present. I will guarantee that you will not receive junk material full of defects that you can't use. If it isn't something that I would expect to receive you won't receive it either.
Orders can be rounded up or rounded down by a few board feet depending on how the boards are tallied. Meaning if you order 10 board feet and the board I select comes to 17 board feet the customer would pay for the additional 7 board feet. I'm not going to cut one of the boards to a shorter length and have off-cuts left over to meet your footage requirements.
When adding this material to your cart for purchasing, you will not get a shipping quote as the system does not know which boards will be selected, how much they will weigh, the length, the width, etc. Purchasing 5 board feet will have a different package size and weight than purchasing 50 board feet.
