Sapwood along the edge of the pictured face and wider bands of sapwood along the edges of the second face. Surfaced two face and very nicely figured. The bottom piece in the picture has wane along each edge of the second face at one end that reduces the usable width to 6 7/8" at the narrowest point.
Cutting this selection so that the final package is 48" or less can save as much as $30 off the cost of shipping as long as the package is less than 50 pounds.
