This selection is for un-figured 4/4 soft maple. This material is mostly rough surfaced at 15/16" but there is some full thickness material avaialble. The widths are all 6" and greater and the lengths are 7' to 10' long.
The material is guaranteed to be sapwood one face and the majority of what I have available is sapwood two face but there may be heartwood present on the second face of the board. There may also be things like mineral streaks, worm holes, minor wane, small bark inclusions, etc that are common occurrences in maple lumber. Every effort will be made to minimize these types of things but one or both faces may have some combination of them present. I will guarantee that you will not receive junk material full of defects that you can't use. If it isn't something that I would expect to receive you won't receive it either.
Lastly, the material is sold by the board foot so the number that you enter to be placed in your cart is the amount of board footage you can expect to receive. Orders can be rounded up or rounded down by a few board feet depending on how the boards are tallied. Meaning if you order 12 board feet and the two boards I select come to 14 board feet the customer would pay for the additional two feet. I'm not going to cut one of the boards to a shorter length and have off-cuts left over to meet your footage requirements.
