There is a 48" long by 4" wide area of heartwood along one edge of the second face near the center of the board that contains some bark inclusions and minor drying cracks in the heartwood. Surfaced two face and very nicely figured. There is also 14" of minor wane along one edge of the pictured face that reduces the usable width to 9 3/8" at the narrowest point.
