There is a 32" long by 3" wide by 1" deep tailing of heartwood at one end of the second face and a 25" long by 3" wide tailing of heartwood at the opposite end of the second face. Surfaced two face and nicely figured. There is a 1 1/2" bark pocket 23 1/2" from one end of the second face and two small closed knots on the pictured face. There is also an area of wane on each edge of the pictured face across from each other that reduces the usable width to 5 1/8" at the narrowest point.
