Heartwood one face with sapwood mostly along one edge of the pictured face. Surfaced two face and nicely figured. There is 11" of wane along one edge of the pictured face at the end of the board that reduces the usable width to 8 11/16" at the narrowest point. There is also a small 3/8" knot 21" from one end of the second face.
