Sapwood along the edges of both faces. Surfaced two face and very nicely figured. There is 8" of wane along one edge of the pictured face at the end of the board that reduces the usable width to 8" at the narrowest point. There is a 5/8" knot 8 1/2" from one end of the pictured face along the edge of the board.
