Sapwood in spots along the edges of the pictured face with the second face almost all heartwood. Surfaced two face with gorgeous figure. There is 8" of wane along one edge of the pictured face that reduces the usable width to 6 15/16" at the narrowest point. There is a minor area of unsurfaced material along one edge of the second face.
