Sapwood two face, surfaced four sides and beautifully figured. There is a 1" long bark inclusion strip 4" down from the end of the piece and 4" in from the center-line union. There is also a 1/8" bark inclusion 9" down from the end of the piece and 5 5/8" in from the center-line union. I laid an "example" guitar body for a company I produce for so you can get an idea of how one may fit around the defects.
