This is a solid spalted maple cookie that is 33" wide at the widest diagonal spot, is generally 28" wide a the next widest measurement and 24 1/4" across. The cookie has been surfaced flat and also sanded on both faces. There is a solid void in the center from wood ants that measures 6 3/8" long and 1 3/4" wide. There is some minor checking around the edge of the piece that adds to the character. This is a solid spalted piece and nothing is crumbling, soft or punky. It's got a lot of character and would be a beautiful addition to the right project.
