The majority of this material is heartwood two face with some minor areas of sapwood along the edges on two pieces on one face. The set has been hit or miss planed to 1 15/16" in thickness and the boards are 122" in length. All the boards will completely clean up at 1 3/4" in thickness. These boards have not been end trimmed to remove any checking or end cracks which may still be present. The widths on this set measure: 16 15/16", 14 7/8", 11 15/16", 11 1/4", 10 3/8", 9" and 8 7/8"...over 83" in total width all from the same tree. Two pictures have 4 of the boards and the second two pictures have 3 of the boards. This is a truly gorgeous set of material!
