There is a golf ball sized circle of heartwood on the second face. Surfaced two face and very nicely figured. There is s small bark inclusion on both faces as well as 8" of wane along one edge of the pictured face at the end of the board that reduces the usable width to 7 5/16" at the narrowest point.
